Replaced one
tube. All tubes test good or better. Speaker sounds good. Replaced
electrolytics and high stress capacitors. Replaced safety caps with new
fails safe capacitors. Trouble shoot for dead radio � fault in a
capacitor. Replaced push buttons with new reproduction buttons.
Installed new reproduction knobs. Replaced several crumbling wire
segments. Restrung dial cord assembly with high strength nylon cord.
Many wires are marginal but will remain safe for the foreseeable future.
Crumbling only on forced contact. Radio reception good on all bands.
Push buttons not set � should be set for stations in the owner area.
These can be set with a screwdriver from the back, once radio is
reinstalled in cabinet. Radio performs well with a minimum of a 6 foot
wire attached to rear antenna terminals as seen-
