| WARRANTY RETURNS...
Of course we hope there is never a reason to return a radio for any warranty work, but given the possibility of shipping damage and other factors it sometimes is necessary. If your radio malfunctions after unpacking, we actually WANT you to return it so we can correct the problem and see if it was something we did or did not do that caused the problem. This will help you and in particular me - going forward. We also strongly advise that you use a UPS store or other professional packing service in returning your radio. WARNING If you do not return a malfunctioning radio and elect to engage another repair guy to do a fix, we cannot offer any adjustments for this repair. DID YOU KNOW? That a warranty on a 60 year old radio that only covers the repair work done - is essentially useless. The warranty to be of value must have language such as : "six month warranty against any and all failures that occur in the normal course of radio operation." Why, because after a radio has been repaired and restored to working order, the radio puts even more stress on other 50-70 year old parts possibly causing other failures.
