$65 Repair Deposit*

We charge a $65.00 repair deposit for all radios that come into the shop. [Even if you only want an estimate] WHY?

1. All older tube type radios require a minimum of work just because of their age, and our policy of not releasing a radio back to the owner without a minimum of reliability assured as explained in "OLD RADIOS"

2. Just to get the radio to the point that an accurate estimate can be derived, takes a minimum of work. If you do not wish to go forward, after receipt of our repair estimate, we may ask you to pay for return shipping, based on how much work was done in order to provide the estimate.

3. No radios submitted to us, based on  the OLD RADIOS protocol has ever been less than $65.00 in the last four years.

If you do not wish to use Paypal, and if paying in cash or with check. the initial deposit is $200.00

 

DEPOSIT RETURN - in certain "rare" circumstances, a partial refund of $20.00 will be made to the owner if a repair is not made.

This is also a good place to re-iterate that we do not do cosmetic repair or restorations.
