NORMAL WARRANTY [90 DAYS] - Our warranty is simple. 90 days on all electronic repairs. If it stops playing during that 90 days, return the unit (call or email me first) and it will be repaired at no cost, and return shipped at no cost. If the failure is unrelated to any work we have performed, we will repair the radio and charges for parts and shipping will be at our discretion. We can offer this comprehensive warranty because of our Minimum repair standards. See TUBES -LIMITED WARRANTY.

Of course if you used the radio for a  substitute bowling ball I probably would not agree that the warranty applied.

SIX MONTH WARRANTY[ or 90+]* This warranty is sometimes given on certain radios that have been restored to the extent that a warranty above 90 days can be applied. The only exclusion is a breakage of the dial string. A warranty repair of the dial string is an additional $50.00 See TUBES -LIMITED WARRANTY.

ONE YEAR WARRANTY [RESTORATION WARRANTY] *- This warranty applies to all electronic restorations. Restorations have a one year warranty against any and all failures that occur in the normal course of radio operation. We will repair at no charge  a Radio that is under a one year warranty and has been restored by us. Shipping both ways will be paid by us. See Warranty Returns. See TUBES -LIMITED WARRANTY.

*ABOUT TUBES  Tube life varies greatly with how a radio is used. When we test your tubes, we only leave tubes in place if they test "good" or "better". When we replace tubes, we try to use NOS or "New Old Stock" meaning they have not been put in service, but may been manufactured many years ago. Otherwise, we acquire used tubes that test very high in tube testers. The reality is there are no tests that we or anybody else can run that will predict with absolute certainty that a tube will last a specific number of hours. Thus tube warranties run for 90 days only.

DID YOU KNOW? That a warranty on a 60 year old radio that only covers the repair work done - is essentially useless. The warranty to be of value must have language such as :  "six month warranty against any and all failures that occur in the normal course of radio operation."  Why, because after a radio has been repaired and restored to working order, the radio puts even more stress on other 50-70 year old parts possibly causing other failures.
